I met Fireman Rob through a mutual friend in the coaching business. Rob's story is complex. In fact, complex is an understatement. For my intro, I considered offering up all the bits and pieces, but truth be told, he's a lot deeper than that. He is a fireman, duh..... he is a triathlete, he is a passionate public speaker and TED talk veteran . He's a highly respected author. He's a mental health advocate for first responders. He's an Air Force veteran. and He's even a world record holder. He is an overcomer.

So, even if you want to, you can never tell him your life is difficult, because he'll show you that you are far more capable than you know. This is my interview with my friend, the ultra committed endurance runner, Rob Verhelst, also known as Fireman Rob, Forged on the Rockstar Radicals podcast.
