show moreGod wants us to lovingly wait on Him as He fulfills His promises to us. God’s word will not return to Him void. It will accomplish the purpose for which it was sent. Can you lovingly wait on God for the answer to your prayers? Can I lovingly wait on God for the breakthrough I’ve been praying and petitioning God for? Let’s consider the text in Romans 8.28-39.
I.We can lovingly wait on God when we trust all things will work out for our good. (vv28-30)
II.We can lovingly wait on God when we realize no one can come between Jesus and us. (v31-37)
III.We can lovingly wait on God when we are absolutely convinced that God’s love for us is greater than our circumstances. (vv38-39)
We don’t like to wait. But again, our character is developed during the wait. You see, we can lovingly wait on God when we trust all things will work out for our good. God said it and I believe it. Look. We can lovingly wait on God when we realize no one can come between Jesus and us, not even Satan and all his accusations.
Finally, we can lovingly wait on God when we are absolutely convinced that God’s love for us is greater than our circumstances. We serve a God who can do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or even imagine. Your answer is coming. Your breakthrough is coming. Victory will be manifested. Just lovingly wait on the LORD.
Amen.
