Self-acceptance is the ability to recognize your beauty and be yourself. And although we know how important this is, we miss those opportunities to show up in power. Unfortunately, insecurity robs us of this power and our joy. Our insecurities develop when we adopt the standards of culture, our friends and family, and live by worldly expectations. And because insecurities stem from our self-esteem, they can harm your physical and mental health.
An essential step toward self-acceptance is self-forgiveness. You are only causing yourself more harm by holding yourself hostage to the past. Learning to let go of your past mistakes is the greatest love you can give to yourself. Today, you can choose to make your past pains create your greatest victory.

Affirmation of the Week:
I refuse to let my inner critic silence my Self-confidence self esteem, self worth, self-respect, and self-love

Quote of the week:
Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance. ― Brené Brown
