Linda Godfrey is the author of ten books on strange creatures, weird phenomena and eccentric pop culture, and is especially known for her research on the upright canines she calls Manwolves, sometimes known as werewolves. She originally broke the first story about "The Beast of Bray Road" as an award winning newspaper reporter in Wisconsin and her sequels, "Hunting the American Werewolf", was the basis for The History Channel :Monsterquest" episode titled American Werewolf, which she co-wrote and appeared in.
