Reekita Gala grew up in a traditional family in India. Traditional meaning the woman stays home and takes care of the house, the family, etc. She wasn't allowed to work. But Reekita was allowed to study and become educated.
Reekita wanted more. She wanted to create her own blue ocean and not live the life others felt she should. While arranged marriage was tradition in her culture, Reekita did not belong in India. She had her father find her a husband who lived in America.
But her journey did not stop there. From immigration battles to having a baby and finally creating her own business, Reekita has persevered and done exactly what she set out to do...create her own blue ocean.
