Pastor Jonathan Crider joins hosts Jamie and Angela Lingerfelt on this episode, talking about taking back the earth for the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus died to get heaven into us, not just to get us into heaven. The Great Commission runs parallel to the command given in Genesis 1:28, to fill the earth and subdue it. Eph. 3:20 says we have been empowered to do more than we can ask or imagine. This power is not given only to pastors and leaders in the church, but to all believers - all the sons and daughters of God. It is time for Christians to lose our orphan identity and realize who we are in God. Each person's individual personality, gifts, and talents are given as ways only they can express the love of Jesus to the world, ways only they can express the Father's heart. We have to find our identity in Christ and express it through the talents and gifts that God has given us. We have to reach a place where we can rest in who we are in God, and let Him work through us to accomplish His will in this earth. When we come before God saying that we are unworthy we are actually demeaning the price of the blood that Jesus spilled for us (Acts 13:46). We've got to spend time in the secret place with God, the place of intimacy with Jesus, to truly learn our identity in Him. That's where we find true liberty and freedom.
