12 NOV 2017 · Spending time with God is the key to living the Christian life. Obedience to His voice is all that is required and needed. Out of that flows everything. The enemy comes at us like a shotgun - he blasts us and then sees what hits us and then concentrates his efforts in that area. We have to guard our hearts. We have to filter what we allow into our lives. The Word of God has to be central in our lives. Everything that happens in our lives should flow out of our alone time with God.

Being a disciple requires denying self, taking up our cross, and following Jesus. This means we have to let go of the things of this world. Prayerfully examining our hearts helps us see the things in our hearts that we need to let go of. Knowing that God is a good Father helps us to willingly let go of things that may seem difficult to get rid of. And He is very gracious and kind in helping us to release things to Him that help us please Him more in our walk. That doesn't mean it is easy to let go or change what God is showing us, but there is always freedom afterwards. Be encouraged today to let go of what is holding you back in your relationship with God!

1 OCT 2017 · Rick Badois joins Jamie & Angela Lingerfelt to talk about living as sons of God in the context of the story of the Prodigal Son. Why do Christians live with (and only believe for) the provisions of orphans or servants? As a man thinks in his heart, so he is. As believers we can walk outside of sonship and this can be seen when we are jealous of what others have, or when we complain about what we do have. From the overflow of our hearts our mouths speak. If we see in our speech patterns of complaints and jealousy of others, it is very likely that we do not recognize that we are truly children of God. We have to learn who we are in Christ! With our loved ones we are most likely to speak the intimate things of our heart when we are alone with them. This is also true of our Father. We have to take time to sit with Him and hear from Him who He has called us to be. The real fruit of a Christian life is obedience to the Father.

24 SEP 2017 · For anyone who is facing hardship or suffering, here is some great encouragement! Pastor Jamie Lingerfelt shares how we can overcome through Christ. Grace begins where ability ends. We desire supernatural grace from God but we don't want to come to the end of ourselves and admit that we can't do it on our own. With Jesus nothing is impossible! God can do it all and He will. All we need is to call on the Name of the Lord.

Dwell in the secret place of the Most High and be refreshed and cleansed in His presence. Take time to rest in His presence today. You are loved!

As Christians we should love people and pray for them rather than judge them. Our heart should be that everyone is reconciled to God. Be obedient to God no matter what. Sometimes this will cause people that won't be obedient to dislike you. Walking by the Spirit produces fruit that pleases the Father.
