Life has returned to normal in the city where a mystery disease went on to trigger a global shutdown in 2020.

Covid-19 has caused devastation in countries across the planet - and continues to do so.

Wuhan, in China's Hubei province, endured the hardship of the world's first lockdown and mourned the deaths of thousands of people.

On this edition of the Sky News Daily podcast, Sky’s Asia correspondent Tom Cheshire returns there to hear Zhao Lei's story.

She is suing the government for compensation and a public apology after her father's death earlier this year.

We also hear from American teacher George Goodwin who lived through the lockdown in Wuhan and Professor Sian Griffiths, Emeritus Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong - who chaired the inquiry into SARS there.
