One of the most interactive parts of the Science Gallery Dublin’s Invisible exhibition is the Cosmic Crafting area whereby visitors can explore the cosmos using arts and crafts. In this podcast mediators Ian and Fiona chat to cosmological researcher Dr. Mark Neyrinck and member of the Italian Origami Society Alberto Calderone , who both use their passion for folding paper as fuel for a diverse range of projects.
Listen to Mark discuss how origami is untangling the cosmic web and how it’s a fun way to explore the universe in your very own hands. You will also hear Alberto discuss his newest project Origami Contro il COVID-19 -- 1000 Origami Against COVID-19 which aims to bring people from around the world to make 1000 cranes as a symbol of global unity and support for our collective fight against Coronavirus.
