Heli Andrea is unlike anyone I've ever met or heard.

Sure, you can hear certain aspects of other voices or styles in her , but it's impossible to deny that this incredible woman just does things in a different way.

Everything is different with her. Her style is understated. Her vocals are understated. Maybe that's not only her normalcy but when coupled with the complex music her band Mobius creates, perhaps it's required.

Heli and I had a wonderful chat on musical style, relevance, and the challenge of living a unique life in a ubiquitous and noisy world. Her music is best felt when listened to. It's about the voice as a musical instrument, not something that stands alone. She is part of a unit. A real group vs Heli and a band of background support.

Mobius is special...because What they are doing can't be explained easily... because it has never been done. it's just Mobius. Mark my words that it's groundbreaking.

Now... Our interview did have one tiny moment where her phone died, but we charged it back up to finish the show and I think we ended well.
