Ghost Iris, the monstrous and brutal metalcore band from Denmark, has a unique human being as their vocalist.

Jesper Vicencio Gün is the singer of the band, all melody snarl and violence. The off stage version of Jesper is anything but intense. Quiet and kind, he clearly exhibits the exact reason metal music exists in the first place: It's an artistic style that one might exorcise one's demons and a place to find catharsis through rhythm and intensity.

In other words, if you have to break a few heads or legs, so be it. Just know that once that 30 minutes is over, you're going to feel so much better and go back to just being the best human you can.

The new album, Comatose, comes out on May 7th, just as this podcast is hitting the airwaves, so make sure you check it out. If you like hard hitting groovy metal with clean and distorted vocals, this is an excellent starter kit for you.

Finally, you might notice that we reference doing this show over a week's time. The fact is I wasn't aware of the time limitations the first time around, so I had to beg Jesper to do a part 2 and he was so kind, he immediately said yes.

But enough of my yammering. This is my 2 part interview with Jesper on the Rockstar Superhero Podcast.
