If there was ever a band that decided to bring "old school" back, it has to be Black Wail.

Black Wail hails from Jersey City NJ and is comprised of 5 talented musicians, each bringing an intangible of epic proportions and a classic rock vibe that cannot be denied.

If you like Thin Lizzy, Clutch, Mastodon, or Cactus, or just the sound of melodic dueling guitars, Black Wail is for you.

Speaking to guitarist and front man, Michael Tarlazzi, I was able to get a brief breakdown of the recipe to their hard edged sound and as it turns out, it isn't so much how but who.... Black Wail delivers because they ARE Black Wail.

'Born on Fire,' the new EP, can be purchased and downloaded ASAP. If you're not sure, check out the song SEE CONSPIRACY on YouTube. You'll be sure after you hear the sludge. It's fantastic rock and roll.

Black Wail will release a follow up EP coming out later this year. Do whatever you need to do to buy this and the future EP. While you're at it, get the older and equally awesome records.
