It's not often that I connect with a musician quite like Craig Lawrence. Let me explain. Most musicians are a bit wild eyed and loony. I know because I'm one of them. When I speak to a guy like Craig, it's such a breath of fresh air because he's not trying to be someone he isn't. He isn't putting anything on. His music is precise, fun, infinitely listenable and full of hope for the future not yet attained. In other words, he's doing it for the love the craft, and that's a rare thing indeed.

So, instead of me telling you more about the direction of our conversation, let's just get into the meat of the band's story.
