Over in Ukraine, the stars are against Unlucky Dan. Dan does his best, but everything he touches falls apart. Jobs, pets, meals—nothing is safe, and nobody seems able to help him. One day, a serpent slithers into his life and leads him to contentment. And this time, Dan is determined to hold onto it.
