Two drug companies, Pfizer and Moderna, have revealed they created vaccines that are both over 90% effective against the coronavirus. Pfizer and BioNTech announced on Friday that they were submitting an emergency use authorization request to the FDA for its vaccine. If approved by next month, the company says the vaccines will be ready for distribution within hours of approval. This means the public may have access to the vaccine in months. So what should we know about these vaccines?
