West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy is Now Open! 8am-9am PT/ 11am-Noon ET for our especially special Daily Specials; River City Hash Mondays!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Democrats defied midterm expectations not only in the national races, but also by making historic gains in state legislatures.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Republican-engineered shorter voting window could cut turnout in the Georgia runoff; the US Merchant Marine Academy will get its first female superintendent in the eighty-year history of the institution; and, a tech CEO is spending millions to stop Elon Musk.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where liberal rights advocate Natasa Pirc Musar won the runoff to become Slovenia’s first female head of state; and, the United Nations is investigating allegations of misconduct by Egyptian police providing security at this year’s international COP27 climate talks.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
Bon Appétit!
