It’s the time of year when everyone decides to get healthy and New Years resolutions are everywhere… for now. Give it a few months and they are often a thing of the past. The reality is – especially when it comes to our lifestyle – that many of the habits we hope to engrain like eating better, exercising, drinking water, or getting enough sleep are good for us and shouldn't be avoided.

So why do we sabotage our own best intentions? and how can we eliminate procrastination from our lives for good? Today we have Dr. Timothy Pychyl who is a professor at Carleton University, and author of the books "Solving the Procrastination Puzzle" and "Procrastination, Health, and Wellbeing". His work is based on current psychological research and provides clear strategies for change. He will walk us through how we can disrupt self-destructive ideas and habits and move into freedom and accomplishment.

We met recently at a conference so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ask him to join us on the show.
