"It's gonna be a knockdown, drag out, rock and roll party in the street", laughed Eddie Spaghetti, vocalist and bass player for Supersuckers on the eve of their Australian tour. "I hope everybody's wearing their underwear coz we're gonna rock your pants right off"!

To celebrate the 20th year since the release of The Evil Powers of Rock 'N' Roll, Supersuckers will be playing the entire album plus all their hits and a selection of songs from last years Suck It album, with Eddie admitting the band never entertained thoughts of playing the whole album front to back in a live setting when it was first released.

"We definitely didn't", he agreed, "but it's such a good record and has so many good songs on it that it kind of feels like a good rock show going on anyway. If you didn't know we were playing a record in its entirety I don't think you would notice it because there's very few... I dunno... B side songs on the record. It's great".

With such an eclectic back catalogue of music, Eddie admits that while coming up with a cohesive, flowing set list can be challenging, it is a challenge the band enjoy and try to juggle to appease their wide legion of fans.

"Over the years I think the cream of the crop rises to the top and it's fairly easy to know which songs you wanna play but obviously we have so many songs we can't play them all so we try to mix it up a little each night and do something different".

In the full interview Eddie discusses the bands no encore policy and where it originated, some highlights from a 30 year career as well as some not so flattering moments, the birth of Supersuckers and where they fit in, their attitude towards authority, the country album that has gradually become a success, meeting Lemmy from Motorhead and more.
