show moreCHERNOBYL workers claim they saw a terrifying and hideous creature with giant wings, a black headless body and red glowing eyes sending a message of doom just before the deadly explosion.
In the days leading up to the Chernobyl disaster, several of the workers in the control room of the nuclear power plant in northern Ukraine claimed to have seen the creature known as the Black bird of Chernobyl.
The supernatural creature they described as having a striking resemblance to Mothman, is said to have risen above the horizon of Chernobyl and Pripyat before the explosion.
Those unlucky enough to see the creature were said to be plagued with terrifying dreams and threatening phone calls.
Some believe the black bird of Chernobyl was a form of the creature known as Moth Man whose presence only ever meant one thing: a catastrophic event would soon follow.
