We don’t enter into new relationships thinking, "WOW, it’s really going to suck when this ends." We start relationships hot and heavy, passionate, and swimming in NRE (a.k.a new relationship energy). We’re having all the feels and can’t keep our hands off one another. Oh the joys of a new relationship… until it ends.

And if you’ve ever been broken up with; if you know that feeling of shock, sadness, devastation, numbness; can’t believe it’s happening... it’s so out there; that your relationship is ending and you can feel out of your body disconnected, and lots of fear and uncertainty, just to name a few things, I want to save we've all been through it.

We’ve been broken up with, but I guess that’s not fair because depending on your experience, maybe you haven’t gone through this or maybe you’ve equally been the one to leave partners. I’ve been both. I’ve had my heart broken and I’ve ended relationships.

But once it happens, once a relationship ends, how do we heal? How do we move forward? How do we even pick our head up and think about how to make it through the end of the day?

In this episode, I’m chatting with Janice Formichella, a breakup coach and host of The Ex-Philes: Break-ups, Broken Hearts and Moving On podcast. She's been there, a few times with relationships, and learned both ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ ways to do things. She is the creator of the Broken Heart Repair Kit and has support and advice on how to help when going through a breakup.

In this episode, you'll learn:
- How to prepare when changes happen in your relationship
- What signs to look for
- How long does it take to get over someone
- How to survive the grief process
- Dealing with loneliness
- Dating again
- Getting back to sex and intimacy in a new relationship
- Is it okay to talk with an ex?
- And much, much more

Don't miss this episode.
