I've been called a pioneer and trailblazer of the green food cuisine and community. For over 20 years, I have worked to raise the culinary standards of plant-based cuisine. I oversee Real Food Daily the premiere gourmet organic vegan eatery in Southern California, CA. With locations in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Pasadena and the first ever vegan restaurant in an airport at LAX, RFD has “developed a loyal following”, from the someday to the everyday vegetarian, celebrities, trendsetting young eaters with sophisticated palates to the mature diner seeking gourmet health supportive cuisine.
I am the executive chef to Vegetarian Times magazine, where I contribute recipes and articles about healthy eating and lifestyle. I have authored two cookbooks, The Real Food Daily Cookbook published by Ten Speed Press in 2005 and Vegan Family Meals published by Andrews McMeel Publishers in June 2011.
