Chart One gives us the whole picture in a very short period of time. God is the Protagonist and the Devil the Antagonist and God chooses and promises to be the Hero who will slay the dragon and rescue his creation held hostage.
This chart will give you the three promises:
I will make you a great nation. I will give you the promised land. I will bless the world through one of your Seed.
You are introduced to two of the three types of contracts in the Old World: Parity and Patron. God's promises to Abram were Patron - nothing expected from Abram in return.
Finally, the one sentence:
From the time God makes these promises to Abram, THE REST OF THE BIBLE IS THE STORY O F ONE MAN'S FAMILY AND HOW GOT KEPT HIS THREE PROMISES TO THAT ONE MAN.
