There are major psychological impacts when it comes to COVID19 and the way our lives have changed based on closures, new mandates, and new ways of life. The experiences we have lived through this year are firsts for most of us. Some of us have lost contact with our friends and family. Some people you may hear from often, others you don't hear from at all. If you live in a heavily trafficked area with a lot of people, you have seen the streets empty and the area at one time looked like a ghost town. The biggest question is: who do you deem safe from COVID? Who do you allow to your house? And who do you avoid? Why are some people safe and others not? Why will you ride the elevator with one person and wait for another elevator when it comes to another? It seems that COVID has separated us more than we were before and there's a silent judgment going on every day when it comes to who or whom to hang out with. Also, these masks are taking away from our personality and being outgoing. What about the stuff that is going on with regards to spousal, child, and animal cruelty, this has to be addressed. We must stand up to it and report it when we see it, don't turn a blind eye.
Dan Nelson our resident historian on the show to discusses the challenges in the past, how 2020 is tough but back then was worse!
