Ashland Balloonfest gets underway today ( Thursday) and runs through Saturday. (June 23-25)

Mindi White, president of Ashland Balloonfest. says this is the 32nd year for the event, which will see 24 hot air balloons and pilots coming from as far as South Carolina and Illinois.

All of the events take place at Freer Field in Ashland. . People coming from across Ohio and surrounding states each year, according to White.  The popular balloon glow takes place at dusk and you can find all of the events at ashlandohioballoonfest.com
