Returning to our series on Genesis, we examine the supposed events surrounding Cain and Abel, and their social context in the civilisations of ancient Mesopotamia.
coming from a evolution stand point then the temperment of the dog before the world was created, would be crackers, but on the basis of Christianity it is not. I really like your books on Xing yi , I didnt know you were a philosopher. I think we should be tolerant of Christianity after all, its the foundation of morals and has prevented the breakdown of society in general. do you agree? everyone is special I think not because of developing skills, I don't understand that statement. people had to develop skills in order to survive being seperated from God. maybe i'm not understanding your point of view? and Enoch walked with God, as far as I know the only one. what do you say? Catholicism is seriously lacking and should not be confused with true christianity. btw. I'm writing this as I listen to you. and I really like your books but a little dissapointed you've chosen this title to discuss. God. The first testament is only presenting the truth, wether we approve it or not. its a written account of what actually happened. free will of man's insistence of being independent of god is what has caused so much of the misery of the world we live in today. if one word of the first testement was not true, then it was thrown away, so, its an accurate description of those times. my argument would simply be seperation from god is the core of man's troubles today aside from the suble hand of Satan, that creaps into our minds and makes us question the existence of god. what say you?
