show moreDuring this episode she talked about what it was like to assimilate within the new culture she found herself.
There was one point that she felt like returning to Jamaica. She bought a one-way ticket as a way of helping her make the decision. However after competing in the Miss Jamaica contest and was a semi-finalist, she eventually returned to the United States.
You will hear her speak about some of her greatest accomplishments, but the most important is motherhood.
She gives some solid advice towards the end of the show as to what you can do to pursue and achieve your dream. She speaks from experience having to overcome the odds of being female and one of color, to become a weather reporter.
More about Stacy-Ann can be found at her very popular website where she shares personal posts as well as business tips and resources.
