Sailor Noob is the podcast where a Sailor Moon superfan and a total noob go episode by episode through the original Sailor Moon series!

Tensions arise this week when a famous artist asks Usagi and Mamoru to sit for her. Usagi finds there might be more to Mamoru than she initially thought, but first she'll have to defeat a new youma, Bina!

In this episode, we discuss ukiyo-e, Japanese punctuation, the Edo period, woodcut and brocade prints, geisha, Hokusai and The Great Wave off Kanagawa, "v" and "b" sounds, and the Sephiroth. We also talk about off-brand Sailor Moon art, Luna = Jiminy Cricket, ONE BIG BRAID, sarcastic cats, the return of Deep Female Laugh, The Floaters, Vincent van Thief, turkey washing machine, and purple crayon situations.

Hokusai's gotta think about his whole life before he paints The Great Wave Off Kanagawa!
