Ufology is plagued today with class-type warfare. More appropriately it could be called UFO-clout gathering, with internal fighting to have the most profitable experience or costume. Ufology has turned into comic-con, with a heavy focus on the ‘con’, and it is segregated between believers and non-believers by whatever definition. Just like comic con, plenty of stories are based on mythology and history, and the same is true for Ufology. Who knows what to believe? Perhaps that’s the point. The 1953 Robertson Panel Report (OSI/CIA) found that infiltration of UFO groups was a great option to prevent the spread of honest discussion on the subject. It also suggested using Hollywood to perpetuate lies about the same. This is likely why, according to a recent survey, the United States is the top destination for UFO sightings - accounting for 92% worldwide. It seems that Hollywood, rather than secret military bases, is actually responsible for creating the modern UFO.
