Chrissy and Scott Crowder never set out to do "Great Things for God." They had a normal life in a normal suburb working normal jobs, until God turned their world upside down five years ago. Now, they foster three kids (in addition to their three biological sons), and Chrissy advocates for poverty-awareness and family reunification. Join Rebecca Carrell and Nika Spaulding as they sit down for a raw, candid conversation about making a difference one child at a time.

There is so much about this podcase that I appreciate - i could write paragraphs! Thank you for giving air time to a topic that most don't have knowledge or experience in. I hope this encourages others to consider fostering or other support actions that help break the poverty cycle. Scott and Chrissy are a great testimony to being obedient to God's call, being united as a family and holding loosely what only God can accomplish.

There is so much about this podcast that I appreciated that I could write paragraphs! Thank you for giving air time to a topic that most only have surface knowledge and experience in. I hope this encourages others to explore fostering or other supportive work with children (and their families) who need someone to walk alongside them. Let's be the church that helps break poverty cycles, helps people find stability markers like housing, work, daycare, health and resolved legal issues.

Chrissy and Scott are my niece and nephew by marriage. I am constantly in awe of the love and support they provide for the foster children placed in their care, as well as their own biological boys who are awesome. Christi Crowder
