Sticks and stones may break your bones, and words can hurt forever! The power of words is, they can shape your life, so choose your words wisely. People speak an average of 7000 words a day and those words can leave an imprint for a lifetime. Positive words can leave you feeling engaged and inspired while negative words can be a weapon of mass destruction. We’ve all heard how emotional poison is spread through the use of words. In this week’s episode of the podcast, we explore an experiment to test the impact of the words we use. Studies show how words can alter the molecular structure of water. Structurally, words can have a powerful effect on everything around us. But the most significant effect of words is on yourself.
Think about this, what you think inspires what you say. So, if you habitually think negatively of yourself or spend time complaining, you will begin to speak life into that thought. It is an act of self-sabotage to speak words against yourself. The key is to change the thinking, which fuels your thoughts, then you can change your world.

Affirmation of the week: I can let go and I can embrace change with an open heart.
