This week join me for part one of a two-part series on the journey to self-care. In part one, Jasmyne Nelson, a licensed master’s prepared social worker helps shine a light on self-awareness. Most of us think we are self-aware, but research shows that a majority of us are not. Learn how being open to receiving feedback can help you in the journey to self-awareness.

More about Jasmyne Nelson:
Jasmyne Nelson, LMSW, MPA is a licensed master’s level social worker with over seven years of experience working with diverse client and patient populations. She received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and her Master's in Public Administration from the University of Memphis. She currently works as a social worker at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she works in the Firefly Women’s Health Clinic with pregnant and postpartum women diagnosed with substance use disorders. She has experience in child and family therapy, group facilitation, crisis management, medical social work, and advocacy.

She has a passion for serving children and families, especially those navigating complex emotional, generational, and societal traumas.
