Description
Are you dreading having a difficult conversation, or are you tired of having the same arguments without a resolution? Let's start by dropping the need to be right or wrong....
show moreLet's start by dropping the need to be right or wrong. When we go into a conversation with the purpose of winning the argument or proving that we are right, no one will win! There will have to be one party that forces their view and one who caves in or two loosing parties.
If we give up the need to be right about something, there is no defense and when there’s no defense, there is no war.
What is the purpose of having a difficult conversation or an argument?
The goal should be to come up with a solution. Because arguing or trying to prove your point can go on for hours. The fighting can go on for days even. This does not get us to solve the conflict but rather lights the fire of conflict and anger.
Notice how much easier it’ll be to find a solution to the problem without all the drama around it.
