On this episode we explore the obstacles we encounter when attempting to live our values, be true to ourselves and how setting up boundaries can be a great tool in making this possible.

Being ourselves can be so rewarding and living our values so empowering.

When we have values and we honor them by thinking and acting according to those values, there’s no gap between our values and who we are.

When there’s a gap between us and our values, that’s when we are miserable, because that space in between, can be when we find ourselves, either blaming others or ourselves, or playing the victim or avoiding the discomfort of change.

We often, go around attempting to change the circumstance to accommodate us, this is not living reality. This is avoiding reality, the discomfort of feeling our feelings and avoiding change, so we may have instant gratification, but in the long run we suffer for it.

Most of the time we can’t change the circumstances or people, but we can always change how we think, which will change how we feel and act.

Setting up boundaries is a great way to honor and love ourselves and those around us.

Boundaries should be set from love and not from hate. They are set to keep ourselves protected and to dictate where we end and the other person begins.

Let's live our values within our set boundaries as a form of loving ourselves and loving others!
