“You have to let your kids LIVE!” — Kelly Powell

Kelly Powell (Mom) and Kayla Sampson (Daughter) are a mother and daughter duo who live in Indianapolis, IN. Kayla and Kelly love to travel and do new and exciting things together in the city (or any other city regionally and internationally). They’ve been traveling together since Kayla’s first trip to Disney World in Kindergarten. As more people inquired about their travel recommendations and local events, the pair had an “Aha Moment” and launched their blog Kelly and Kayla In the City in 2019. From axe throwing to Diner en Blanc and rodeos to concerts (cue Celine Dion), the blog highlights things-to-do in Indianapolis, the Midwest, and throughout the world.
