10 MAR 2018 · After 40 years of trying to find happiness at the bottom of a bag of potato chips, author Dana Goldstein finally snapped.
A lifetime of diets, denial, and bad relationship choices caused her weight to rise and fall, and challenged her confidence. Once she was in her 40s, Dana realized that "HELL, YES!" people liked who she was, that she no longer had to listen to the hurtful words of others and that her weight issues were tied to emotions.
What started as an autobiography vilifying those who had tried to crush her dreams or tell her she deserved less in life, turned into an examination of her relationship with food.
Dana has some great stories to tell around her experiences with food: her great-grandmother's hidden candy stash; her Italian adventure with ordering off-menu; her successful weight loss while in a horrible relationship; her inability to stop eating her own fresh-baked cookies.

At the age of 53, Giuliana Melo was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. She shares her story of healing.
She is an inspirational woman warrior. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 but she is not a victim, she is a survivor and a thriver!!! Her journey through cancer reached a low when she was so scared that she asked God, “Why me?” That moment was a pivotal point in her life as she realized Why not me??? It opened the way for healing, by the "Grace of God", and allowed her to expand her spiritual awareness. She knew through the practice of Gratitude that there were many blessings to be counted even on those days that were challenging. Like that saying "every day may not be good, but there is good in every day!" and also none of us are promised tomorrow so just make today the best day ever. Yesterday is gone. Forget it. You too can "embrace Grace" and heal mind, body and spirit.

11 APR 2018 · First came a retreat where I met my coach and an amazing group of women who were in that place of “how do I get through this” … and we did! Then came an appointment with my naturopath who said that after reconnecting with myself, this next process would be much easier. I went out to my car and sat there staring at myself in my mirror. What did he mean “reconnecting with myself”? Who did I reconnect with? After some time and realizations, I knew that there was something else inside me that I needed to follow and it wasn’t my heart or mind. It was HER!! By finding my own way from within, I was able to redirect myself back on my path.
