9 JUL 2026 · After nine months, I am back. On Episode #21, while attending the 2025 National DeSoto Convention, I sat down and had a great conversation with three members of the National DeSoto Club who are in their 20's and 30's and we talk about getting younger people interested in the car hobby. My apologies for not getting this out sooner. And of course, I will get you updated on the Mopar Event Calendar.
19 OCT 2025 · After three months, it's good to be back. It's hard to believe I have done twenty episodes of the WaltPar Podcast. And I can't thank you all enough. I don't take it for granted. The feature portion features Craig Lane, Ohio Chapter member of the National DeSoto Club. We met before the National DeSoto Convention was held last June. We talked about the show, club history and history of the DeSoto. This Club honors the cars built by John and Horace Dodge and covers Mopars built between 1914 and 1938. We get a great history of the Dodge Brothers and what it takes to take care of his vehicles. I had the opportunity to speak with National President John Roberts. And does he know everything about Lil Red Express trucks or what? After hearing from someone about some friction happening, I verified the welcome mat will be out for ALL Mopar enthusiasts to enjoy themselves at Moparfest, Canada's Largest All Mopar Car Show. And with questions about the future of the car hobby and its history, I'm getting the word out on what we should do to keep this good thing going. 7 APR 2025 · On Episode #16 of he WaltPar Podcast, I tell the story of how a planned private party at a grass roots Indiana drag strip has turned into a fifth annual Mopar event and I had a great time talking to the Mopar Insider himself, Robert S. Miller of Moparinsiders.com. We talk about the past, the future, Mopars located outside the United States and more. I could have talked to Robert for days. And at the end of the podcast, I go through the first Mopar only event calendar for 2025, and there's a lot of events.

That prompted me in reminding everyone to review what all your vehicle has for options and equipment and know it's there if you need them. On Part #2, I give my opinion on the efforts Frank Rhodes, Jr., the Great Grandson of Walter P. Chrysler, is doing to have the Chrysler, Dodge and Mopar be an American corporation again. Of course we start off the podcast with the latest news affecting the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands worldwide and end with what's left of the 2024 Mopar event calendar. Enjoy.
