  • Fright Props - Props For Your Haunted Attraction

16 SEP 2015 · Joining us today is Drew Ailes, Chief of Halloween Enthusiasm at FrightProps. FrightProps is, in my opinion, one of the most prolific vendors in the industry; I personally have used them for my haunts many times. FrightProps was founded by Doug Anderson, but not before a little shifting around in life. He started in tech, later sold that company and started a haunt called The Dig right outside of Denver in Broomfield. Doug recognized a need for, basically, a vendor made for haunters by haunters; after relocating the business to Bloomington, Minnesota, he gathered a small team and began build FrightProps into what it is today. FrightProps produces a lot in house but is also a reseller for many other vendors. http://www.hauntedattractionspodcast.com/e209/

They specialize in illumination of low-light and space constrained environments where traditional theatrical luminaires are not suitable. In late 2014, after experiencing extraordinary growth over several years, Darklight rebranded to Gantom; a combination of “Gan,” our founder’s last name, and “phantom,” which reflects their humble Halloween lighting beginnings.
