An acting role of a lifetime will not make everything come together. Your best joke is not going to leap you over the top. What will get you there is doing your job behind the scenes within the industry. More importantly, you are not in this alone, and if you try to succeed on your own you will find the fall much more painful when no one is there to grab your hand.
