16 SEP 2026 · In this episode of Storm Whispers, I take you back to the day I lost my father.Pregnant and exhausted, I traveled across New York City because something inside me told me I needed to see my dad. When I arrived at his apartment, I learned that he had been taken to the hospital. What followed was two days of searching, unanswered questions, countless phone calls, and the growing fear that something was terribly wrong. Then came the call.I finally found my father — but not in the way I had hoped.I share what it was like to return to the hospital, walk through those doors, and face the reality of losing the man who called me his baby girl. But losing my father brought more than grief. It brought guilt. It brought anger. It brought questions I couldn't answer. And that anger would stay with me for years.Emerging Part 2 is a deeply personal story about losing a parent, complicated grief, guilt, anger, and learning how to continue living after your world changes in an instant.🎙️ Storm Whispers⚠️ Content warning: This episode discusses death, loss of a parent, pregnancy, grief, and emotional trauma.
