1 OCT 2024 · In this episode of 'Less Than Zero,' host Mohamed Kaada dives deep into the exciting launch of Jag Token—a revolutionary new cryptocurrency aimed at empowering the restaurant industry and beyond. Mohamed, a seasoned entrepreneur and restaurateur, shares his vision for transforming the way the industry rewards its unsung heroes: the kitchen staff, delivery drivers, and all the gig workers who make it possible. The Hey Jag app is more than just another food delivery platform—it's a complete ecosystem designed to empower its users through blockchain technology. And at the core of this ecosystem is Jag Token, an ERC-20 utility token based on the Ethereum blockchain and built on Polygon layer 2, ensuring low transaction fees and seamless integration. But what makes Jag Token unique is its mission: to raise funds, build community loyalty, and reward employees in a way that truly recognizes their contributions. Mohamed explains how Jag Token will be an integral part of the Hey Jag app, offering users a digital wallet where they can store, use, and even stack their tokens. Through this ecosystem, restaurant employees, gig-workers, and customers alike can earn rewards simply by participating—whether that’s completing a delivery, stacking tokens, or providing feedback. Imagine a cook who earns extra crypto just by hitting their targets or a delivery driver who gets to stack Jag Tokens for additional income. Unlike many other crypto projects, the focus isn’t just on raising money; it’s about building a community first. This episode takes you through the careful planning that goes into launching a successful ICO and the steps being taken to make sure Jag Token provides real value for everyone involved—from early adopters and investors to kitchen staff and loyal customers. The episode further explores the unique mechanisms that Jag Token uses, such as token burning, which helps reduce supply and increase value, and stacking pools, where users can generate passive income by staking their tokens. By involving community members early, Jag Token aims to create a transparent, inclusive environment where everyone benefits from the platform's success. Mohamed also touches on the larger impact Jag Token aims to have on the broader restaurant industry. By leveraging blockchain technology, Hey Jag wants to ensure that the financial benefits aren't only reserved for investors but also trickle down to those who need it the most—the people working tirelessly to keep the restaurant world spinning.
