    4 MAR 2024 · Sometimes outpatient therapy is not enough. Outpatient is great for sustaining when your on a recovery path. It is usually a good fit for most mild to moderate symptoms. In some cases there are severe symptoms, medication resistance or several comorbidities potentially including addiction that demand more extensive and intense treatment paths. Most of these interventions are short term and can complement outpatient therapy – which can be more long term for those with complicated diagnosis or symptoms.     5 FEB 2024 · M is a 20 year old college student w/a unique ED recovery story in that she became symptom free quickly and, other then a few weeks in higher level of care, was able to continue an exercise regimen – something not typically possible. M struggled early in life with Obssessive, Compulsive Disorder where she built skills she used to manage her ED at first on her own. But like many who struggle with ED, a village of support is almost always needed to find true and sustainable recovery. Her tenacious strong will, positive outlook and complete willingness and openness to find recovery draw an inspiring path for others to emulate.
