Midgar is a mythical city and bustling geometric metropolis found on the planet of Gaia in the Final Fantasy universe. My guest today, Andy Wilson Taylor, was greatly influenced by one particular game in the series, and from which so many musical ideas sprouted.

Andy founded Midgar in 2008 on the principles of symphonic expression, grand idealism, melodic compounds, kinetic atmosphere, and sonic synthesis. The term 'cinematic' best describes this musical amalgamation and the subsequent material that poured from his veins.

Finding himself in another country in the last few years, Andy has found peace and uses his gifts to better our world, one note at a time.

Midgar is unadultered beauty and tangled rage, professionally forged into a glorious alloy of inverted chords and passing melodies.
