Everyone is looking for answers. Everyone wants solutions for the problems in this world. But unless we go to the right place, our search is meaningless.
You can have all kinds of head knowledge of the principles that can change you and your circumstances, but without the power of the Holy Spirit you can only do so much in your own strength.
Psalm 34:7 tells us that God will give us the desires of our hearts. Our HEARTS, not our flesh. The desire of our heart is something in our Spirit man that we just can’t deny. We can’t shake it because He planted it there! God gives us the desires of our hearts because He put that desire there!
Philippians 2:13 tells us that “it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” He has desires for us that are beyond anything we can even imagine! In fact, scripture says that God has such an immense vision for His people (that’s us!) that we can’t even imagine the half of it! What can you dream? Double it and that’s still not big enough!
You are loved. You are called. And only Jesus can fill that need you have inside you. Only the Father can fulfill your desire for something meaningful in your life. He is the great I AM.
