5 JAN 2023 · Can you imagine?! What if 2023 was the year that Christians all over this shadowing world said, “ENOUGH! I refuse to allow the shadows of this world to hide my light." Yes, bad things happen. We live in a world where the darkness seems to be winning, but that's not the reality! The reality is "Christ in us, the Hope of glory!" Because our Jesus?? He has already overcome! He IS the light of the world, and we, His people, are his beacons of HOPE. Isaiah 60 says, “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the people; but the Lord will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you. Nations shall come to your light!” ARISE AND SHINE! This podcast will encourage and equip you to live a life plugged in to The Power Source who enables you to activate the light that already resides in you. Every Thursday, tune in as we explore the scriptures for practical ways to raise our voltage and be the Living Hope we are called to be! Together- Let’s make 2023 the brightest year yet!

13 JAN 2023 · In this episode, we dig deeper into the topic of HOPE. What is it? Why is it important? And what does it look like in our daily lives? Most importantly, is our hope pointing people to Jesus? Because friends! This world needs Jesus! There are too many people hurting and feeling hopeless, for us to be silent. People need to know that Hope is a reality and that it is available to them! I want to remind you- As Christians, we are both CREATED and CALLED to SHINE the light of Jesus into the darkness around us. We'll look at Hebrews 6:18 and camp out for a bit at 1 Peter 3:15 which says, "in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as Holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the HOPE in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." I hope you join me as we study how to turn up the voltage on the light within us!

28 JAN 2023 · Have you ever had one of those days? Or weeks? Months? Or even season of life? You know what I’m talking about. Those times in life when it seems like everything that can go wrong… does. When everything, including the kitchen sink, is thrown at you. In this episode, we'll look at the story of a woman found in Mark 5:25-34 who had struggled for 12 years. This woman “did all she knew to do”. She wasn’t lazily sitting back and being a victim. She had actively looked for a solution, sought wisdom from all the “experts”. She spent everything she had. All her time, all her resources, all her money, all her ideas… until she got to the point where she was almost completely empty. Doesn’t that sound like us today in our self-help, internet search engine world? We’ve read all the books and blogs; listened to all the podcasts; sought all the advice. And yet… we are still spinning our wheels trying to juggle everything, feeling overwhelmed with the cares of this world. Join me as we explore some beautiful truths to apply in our lives during those seasons when a wall of humanity stands between us and Jesus. I want to encourage you today to stop focusing on the things pressing against you from all sides. Instead look to Jesus and run boldly to Him - crawl if you have to- and receive His Grace-His divine influence upon our hearts- His peace, His joy, His wisdom, His enablement. 2 FEB 2023 · I was recently asked a question that made me pause… A woman I had only recently met said, “So… what’s your story?” As I struggled with forming an answer, she seemed genuinly unaware of how her question deeply affected me. This episode explores the answer. As Christians, how is HIS story reflected in our own? Does the hope inside us change the stories we live? Life is an adventure that we only get to live once! Let's do it well.

4 MAR 2023 · Sometimes the journey through life is just hard. Thank goodness we don't have to do it alone. Our Jesus is right there with us in the shadows and the storm. And He loves us so much that He refuses to leave us. Instead, He prepares a table before us to draw us out of the dark and into His light. And it's only there at His table that our "cups runneth over". Join me as we explore the neccessary process that will enable us to shine the light of Jesus. Even in the hard. Especially in the hard... You can absolutely rise up and shine! You were created to shine.
