Swapping words to avoid stammering - it was of benefit but also had a negative side as discussed during this episode of the Stammering Solved podcast.

What I always realised was that fluent people didn't avoid or substitute any word, and that to become fluent I would also need to stop doing so, along with many other changes to my life.

I was willing to do whatever it took to eradicate the stammer from my life.
