12 MAR 2021 · During the period of my life when I had a stammer I was very much a loner. If, for example, I had a choice of whether to go to a social event, I would usually choose not to, due to the fear of stammering. I missed out on so much, and this made me even more eager to find a solution, to help me to overcome the stammer. I had become a loner; a person that other people no doubt thought of as rather weird. And this was at a time of my life when I cared what people thought of me. I had to break the cycle, and at the age of twenty-two I was able to overcome my stammer, and that was when my life could truly begin. 11 MAR 2021 · Stammering And Stuttering Cure - My quest to achieve fluency. Growing up with a stammer was extremely frustrating. I did not know anyone else who had a stammer, and this made it even more depressing. I attended speech and language therapy for many years, but instead of improving, the stammer became even more severe! The speech and language therapists had a real lack of understanding on what it was like to have a stammer. I am not blaming them for this; it's not their fault that they have not had a stammer. In the end I decided to attempt to formulate my own form of stuttering and stammering cure.
