- All men must die, because death is the consequence of original sin,

- In order to secure a happy death, we should in our dailyprayer ask God to grant us a happy death, and of our own accord detach ourselves now from earthly goods and pleasures.
- Immediately after death follows the particular judgment.
- After the particular judgment the souls of men go into hell, or heaven, or purgatory.
