Leviathan is a dragon in the watery abyss, rising as an enemy of humanity. It is the Revelatory Ego, driving animal consciousness and the illusion that is matter and the waters of Peter. To destroy Leviathan is the save mankind from darkness just as to destroy the dragon is the slay the ego, overcome the beast, and acquire the gold buried within inner space. Symbols like the trident and hexagram, and character such as Lucifer or Satan, can be understood in both historical and contemporary political terms.
