In this episode, we talk about how Paul became a nature person and what motivates him lately. We discuss why Paul decided to leave a steep career in Real Estate in order to follow his dreams and e evaluate positive trends of the Real Estate and Construction industries and discuss the role of policy in regard to shifting towards more buildings using wood instead of concrete. Paul talks about decentralisation and using natural resources that are sourced nearby and how conservatism can sometimes harm innovation and freeze whole industries. We discuss positive changes about the mindset of people entering the job market and you will hear what Paul wishes to have learned earlier. We talk about new leaders, role models of thew 21st century and open innovation and we learn that it is key to talk about great changes in order to change the world. We look into “Turbocapitalism” and how crisis can accelerate positive changes and we evaluate potential sustainability tax and why we have to think more globally. We learn what’s needed to create a Green Fee Token from scratch and we learn how that is connected to the inception of sustainability roughly 400 years ago. Trees have many different values and we have to understand that nature is not god-given but that it must be protected. We look into changes that must happen to reach the vision of a more interconnected and green future and how we can unite forces and develop together. Pushing against other peoples opinions can be tough and we learn what friendship and mentorship can do. We discuss how important it is to surround yourself with people who support you and what power it can have to start travelling.
