Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Middle East is crying for help but most of the people do not know Your Holy Name. However, just as you touched our hearts while we were still fighting our own spiritual wars, we are confident that You will touch the hearts of many in that region.

We continue to pray for mercy for all people in the Middle East, especially the children, the elderly and all those who are innocent civilians. Wash away the tears that the bloody wars in the region have brought them for years. Give them leaders who love peace and reconciliation.

We especially pray for the conversion of Khaled Mashal and the other leaders of Hamas, and we pray that their hearts may be touched in such a way that they will become a peace loving people. We pray this in Your Holy Name. Amen.
